Pakistan continued their undefeated run against West Indies and sealed the three-match ODI series with a big 120-run in the 2nd ODI.
Pakistan had won the opening ODI of the series earlier in the week and with a victory in the 2nd game.
Asked to chase a target of 276, WI were bowled out for 155 in 32.2 overs.
None of the visiting batsmen breached the 50-run mark and WI also failed to play the complete 50 overs.
There were high expectations from captain Nicholas Pooran but he only managed 25 off 36.
The newly-appointed WI’s white-ball captain was dismissed by a jaffa from spinner Mohammad Nawaz.
The left-handed batsman played the wrong line and the ball went on to hit the timber.
Pakistan Cricket Board took to Twitter and hailed Nawaz’s golden arm.

Meanwhile, the win gave Pakistan an unassailable 2-0 lead in the three-match series and their 10th consecutive ODI series win over the West Indies. Pakistan’s last ODI series defeat to the West Indies was way back in 1991.
“It was a tough day for us,” said Pooran. “I thought we bowled well in the first 45 overs but conceded 20 too many. Credit must be given to Nawaz who bowled really well.”
Pooran wasn’t going well to the recent two series. He had a high score of 10 in three innings in the Netherlands and he scored 21 & 25 so far againts Pakistan in the on going 3 match ODI Series.
I am not surprised by what’s going on with WI in Pakistan.
There is no selected team from the West Indies at present to come out winners versus Pakistan.
Sorry Guys maybe you can prove me wrong.
WI have Bangladesh after so the arguments will be better.
Best Wishes.
