“We’ve Got to be Consistent” | Holder Reflect on World Cup & Look Ahead to Sri Lanka Tests!

“Disappointing World Cup for all of us. We would have liked to defend our Championship a little bit better than we did. Yeah, just didn’t fall into place for us, but still positives in the camp. Obviously with someone at Marvel, we had a queue saying we started well and then to see the way doing Bravo and Chris”

“Hetmayer and Nicholas Pooran batted Well . Akile Hossion started well and then to see the way doing Bravo and Chris Gayle finished off was remarkable. did, I think everybody always would adore them and enjoyed. their time on the cricket fields as well.” he added

“when you go to foreign countries, you really want to perform. I think these performances away from home add a little bit more value in foreign conditions, but I think it will be a really good challenge. I think we’ve got a really good team and hopefully we can get to grow in this warmup game first and guys get acclimatized. and do really well just to do anything in my power to help the team to win. I think winning is very important for us. We’ve been building quite nice as a test team. Our last series obviously wasn’t the end that we were looking for but a draw nevertheless. So we’re just looking to take it one step further and series. against Sri Lanka away from home, I’ll win this one.”

Q; What do you think will be important in Srilanka ?

“Consistency in all three departments, ball and field and bating. It’s got to be consistent. It will be challenging. Obviously, Sri Lanka is very good in their backyard and we expect a really good contest from them. I think we’ve got what it takes to beat them and we’ve just got to be brave, got to be smart and just play some solid cricket. I think for us all, it’s very important because obviously. you’re building towards another trophy. We started this campaign recently. Well, in this second sector of the test Championship and yeah, we’re looking forward to continuously building point. It’s very crucial game and we just know what’s at stake. So as individuals, we’ve got to play our roles and interbreeing together. Strong collective effort.”
