‘Creed’ gunning to become youngest Mr. Guyana

The Guyana Bodybuilding and Fitness Federation has earmarked December 17 as the date for its flagship National Seniors Championship at the National Cultural Centre.

The championship will serve as a qualifier for the region’s highest bodybuilding and fitness event, the Central American and Caribbean (CAC) Championship.

During the 49th edition of the CAC Championship held in August in Barbados, Team Guyana copped a record 12 medals- five gold, six silver and a bronze.

If Nicholas Albert’s intuition comes to fruition, he will be crowned the next Mr. Guyana on the evening of December 18 at the National Cultural Centre .

In fact, he will be the youngest muscleman to hold the prestigious title of Mr. Guyana.

Albert who turned 22 last month is brimming with confidence ahead of the flagship National Senior Championship.

The highly anticipated year end spectacle is set to attract the cream of the nation’s bodybuilding athletes on one stage.
